What is an elopement, and how is it different from a traditional wedding?
Elopements are intimate ceremonies focused on the couple. Unlike traditional weddings, they typically involve fewer guests, minimal planning stress, and a more personalized experience. At Elite Elopements we do traditional elopements, so we can focus on just you - the couple.
Do I need a visa to elope in another country?
Visa requirements vary by country and your citizenship. We provide guidance on the necessary documentation and can connect you with visa services if needed.
How far in advance should I book my elopement?
We recommend booking 6–12 months in advance to ensure availability of venues and vendors.
Do you help with travel arrangements?
We do not book any travel or accommodation; however, we provide recommendations and guidance.
Do you offer photography and videography services?
Our packages are based on your legal marriage, elopement coordination and photographer only, this is so you can add and custom build your day the way you would like it.
We will of course recommend vendors such as photographers, videographers, stylists – you name it.
What are the legal requirements for the marriage?
Because you are being legally married in Australia, Tash will liaise with you for all required documentation. You will meet with Tash in person to sign legal documents and register your marriage at a date that suits you – prior to departing for your elopement.
You will not need to obtain any other marriage related documents for overseas.
Do we get a personalised ceremony on the day?
Absolutely! Tash specialises in creating bespoke ceremonies that reflect your love story, cultural traditions and personal preferences. This also allows a great opportunity for capturing some fantastic photos.
What if the weather doesn’t cooperate?
We always have a backup plan in place, whether it’s an alternate venue or a flexible timeline. Your day will be magical, no matter what!
What happens if yourself or a vendor are unwell?
We ensure there is always a backup for each service including coordination of the day. We also arrive early at each location to conduct all our supplier meetings prior to the elopement date.
What happens if we need to cancel or reschedule?
We understand that plans can change. Our flexible policies depend on the vendors and location involved, and we’ll do our best to minimize any penalties or fees. You will be issued with a contract and proposal which will have all the finer details.
